At Genopole since the creation of its affiliate there in 2011, the American company New England Biolabs brought home the 2023 Innovation Trophy from the Forum Labo Paris trade fair, specifically for its NEB Lyo Sciences program, recognized in the “Services” category. That program makes lyophilized molecular biology reagents available for research and in vitro diagnostics. The lyophilization of such products has the major advantage of eliminating the cost of cold-chain maintenance in expedition and refrigeration in stockage.
