Researchers from Genopole’s Laboratory for Analysis and Modeling in Biology and the Environment (Lambe), Lariboisière Hospital’s Biological Resources Center, and the start-up Dreampore joined forces to demonstrate the ability of a natural nanopore to detect coagulation biomarkers associated with strokes and cancers. Their work was published in the journal ACS Central Science on 3 February 2023 and opens pathways toward new, rapid and precise diagnostic tests, which have a major role to play in public health to favor prevention and personalized care provision.
