Genopole takes
start-ups
to Arab Health

A Genopole team travelled to Dubai for the 49th edition of Arab Health held 29 January to 2 February 2023. The event showcases new health or convergent technologies developed by tens of thousands of start-ups, industrials, hospitals and decision makers representing more than 70 countries. For Genopole, it was an opportunity to promote the biocluster, prospect new businesses and explore the Middle Eastern, Asian and African regions to find scientific and business partners for its own companies. With an eye to the business potential of those regions, Genopole brought two biocluster companies, both recent arrivals at Campus 1, along for the trip: Cell Environment, a specialist in the detection of chromosomal abnormalities, and Endogene.Bio, a company that recently developed a simple and reliable test for endometriosis.

Seizing opportunities
on the arabian peninsula

On 19 December 2023, upstream of the 2024 Arab Health conference, Genopole held a morning event to raise awareness among the biocluster’s biotechs on health business opportunities in Arabian and Persian Gulf markets, and particularly that of the United Arab Emirates, currently one of the world’s most dynamic markets in the health sector. Seed and series A funding opportunities available to French companies were also presented.
