Genolife

With this large-scale, start-up–to–preindustrialization real estate project, Genopole’s ambition is to develop biotech research and innovation while also impulsing territorial growth.

The GenoLife project is a major advancement for biotechnologies. It is the collective brainchild of a range of territorial actors, including notably SEM Genopole, GIP Genopole, the Grand Paris Sud Urban Area, and the Évry-Courcouronnes City Council. Their close partnership enabled the organization and structuration of a project that will propel biotech innovation by providing an energizing framework for the development of start-ups and ambitious research projects. The objective is to create a synergistic environment where scientific competency, cutting-edge infrastructures and institutional support coalesce and consequently propel technological breakthroughs in the health and bioeconomy sectors. By favoring exchanges between the range of actors, the project aims to stimulate creativity and scientific excellence while also contributing to the territory’s attractiveness and economic dynamics.

The firm Patriarche et Bart | Patriarche has developed a novel concept for the project, comprising more than 21,000m² of flexible office and lab premises. With this concept, called LabReady, businesses will be able to rapidly adapt to their changing needs for space.
