Debate workshop: biofoundries, biomanufacturing and biotechnologies for biorefineries

As part of the Grand Est region’s Bioeconomy Month, an event was held 25 September 2023 on the subject of biorefineries by way of biofoundries, bioproduction and biotechnologies. The morning-long event was organized by the Bazancourt-Pomacle Industrial Territory, the European Center for Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (CEBB), Genopole and Bioeconomy For Change. It provided an opportunity to create and strengthen inter-regional ties. The event was dedicated to biofoundries as a way to improve access to biotech resources; biomanufacturing with an eye to reducing costs and risks in bioprocesses while increasing productivity, speed and flexibility; and finally the interest of regional biotech sectors for these technologies.
